Hungry for food?  Food is good.  Easy-to-fix, low-cost and healthy.

Sausage Rolls

Frozen bread dough
Old fashioned sausage
Cream cheese (or lower fat Neufchatel Cheese, it looks the same)

1)  Thaw bread dough on the counter for 2-3 hours, overnight in the fridge or dunked in hot water for 30-45 minutes while still wrapped in a plastic bag.

2)  Brown the sausage into crumbles in a fry pan on medium-high heat while stirring.

3)  Pull the dough with your hands into a rectangle-sized flat shape, about 3/4 - 1" thick.  Place on parchment paper on a cookie sheet (easiest to clean up,)  a buttered cookie sheet or cookie sheet with a light, see-through layer of cornmeal, to keep the dough from sticking.

4)  Draw a line of cream cheese down the middle third, about 3 tablespoons total.  Pretend like you're putting cream cheese on a bagel but in a line.  Add 1/2 cup of sausage sprinkles on top of the cream cheese.

5)  Fold the sides of the dough to the middle and press together the seams there and at the ends.

6)  Bake in a 350 degree oven for 25 minutes and then add another 5-10 minutes to check for doneness.  It will be done when the top is light brown and the middle is not dough-y.  If you knock on the top of the crust and it sounds hollow, it's done.  At the end, check every two minutes.  If the top is getting too brown and the middle isn't done, put a loose sheet of tinfoil over the top for the last bit.
